potter

For me, pottery offers the ultimate artistic expression. A lump of clay has endless opportunities and the process of creating with it is something I relish. The patterns I design and print in turn inspire the the pottery I create

PRINTmaker

Printing is second nature to me, having always been in my life from being bought up under the print tables at Clothkits to my print filled studio. Trained in printmaking at a degree level I mainly work with relief printing methods producing ltd edition lino prints inspired by nature, pattern, precious objects, and the beautiful landscapes here in Sussex.

COORDINATE

Having a rich background in both the creative and events industry make me an excellent coordinator. I regularly host open calls for charities & causes close to my heart. 2022 saw the launch of The Sussex Contemporary open call an annual prize giving exhibition planned to be nomadic around my home county of Sussex.

Patternmaker

I have been in love with pattern since forever. Printed patterns have been part of my work life since I started my degree in 1998. Through my research into Peggy Angus, I discovered the heritage craft of Lino printing wallpaper by hand, having spent time with those that printed for Peggy I have learned her method and adapted it to create a way of making wallpaper here in my studio.
